Results of the settlement and expansion of the Dutch Cape colony on the Africans by 1795

The Dutch displaced the African settlers.
Africans lost their land to the Dutch settlers.
The Africans lost their independence to the Dutch.
Africans were enslaved by the Dutch settlers.
Loyalty shifted from African chiefs to the Dutch settlers, as many Africans became servants of white man.
Africans were undermined by the Dutch. This was the beginning of Apartheid policy in the later years.
Africans were raided by the Dutch for cattle, which led to counter raids
Africans lost their grazing land to the Dutch.
Economic activities among the Africans stagnated.
Africans suffered from many European diseases.
Population increased with the Dutch settlements.
The Dutch language was learnt by the Africans.
Good standard of living existed in some white settler areas.

Conflicts with Africans led to wars as the Dutch colony expanded.
